Somewhere between Afghanistan, Africa, and the Pentagon, I learned that leadership isn’t about having the right title — it’s about finding the right voice. The one that holds steady under pressure. The one that people trust when the room gets loud — or when it goes painfully quiet.

Hi, I’m Brooke. 

For almost 20 years, I built a career helping leaders show up with clarity, presence, and authenticity when it mattered most. I started as a Public Affairs officer in the U.S. Air Force, working in global crisis response and strategic media operations. My work took me across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Afghanistan, where I served on a Provincial Reconstruction Team focused on building trust between communities and the military. I partnered with defense leaders across Africa, helping them stand up professional communication teams — training and mentoring them through the delicate art of message, timing, and trust.

Later, I advised two Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and two Air Force Chiefs of Staff, shaping leadership narratives through national emergencies, presidential transitions, and moments that demanded more than just a polished statement — they demanded real presence. I’ve led communication strategy at the intersection of the White House, Pentagon, and Congress.

I’ve built teams. I’ve rebuilt trust. And at every step, I’ve seen the same truth: the leaders who endure are the ones who lead with a voice that’s their own. Today, through Up Until Now Coaching, I help leaders navigate transformational moments — the ones that ask for something more honest, more aligned, and more human.
